The client wanted to use a photograph taken by the groom’s sister for the wedding invitation. I retouched the photo, extending the width to meet the size of the postcard and applied a Lomo photographic effect to enhance the romantic feel. A whimsical typeface was selected to reflect the casual, joyful mood of the event.

Presented as The Moustaches of Literature series, each bookmark displays the illustrated moustache of a notable fictional character and an excerpt about his facial rug. The design attempts to engage students and spark their curiosity for reading. The back side provides library locations and contact information.

Forum, the literary magazine of City College of San Francisco, showcases the talented authors, poets, and visual artists in the community, including students, instructors, alumni, and staff.
